This adaptive reuse project transformed the vacant, fire-damaged upper floors of a historic downtown building into three renovated residential units overlooking Pack Square Park. The design integrates modern, high-end finishes with the character of the existing structure, creating comfortable living spaces with views of downtown Asheville. Construction was carefully coordinated within a constrained urban site, with no dedicated storage or parking and an active restaurant operating below the work area. Completed in collaboration with Glazer Architecture, the project represents a thoughtful revitalization of an underutilized building, now contributing to the vibrancy and walkability of the surrounding downtown district.
