Projects
The Boys & Girls Club of America’s Cherokee Youth Center was built to expand capacity for staff, children, and programming. The new 50,000 SF facility includes modern classrooms, collaborative learning spaces, a gymnasium, locker rooms, and administrative offices, all supporting after-school activities and group engagement.
Guided by the owner's vision of creating a welcoming environment for children of all ages, the design balances playful and sophisticated elements, including patterned metal panel cladding, a central staircase overlooking the gym, and a two-story spiral slide. Classroom colors reflect the seven clans of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, with age-appropriate palettes and custom educational graphics throughout the facility.
