Beverly-Grant completed the new, 20,000 square foot emergency room at the Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, NC. Serving as the design/build contractor, Beverly-Grant completed extensive site work adjacent to the existing hospital. The existing emergency room remained in operation while construction took place over and around it. Once the new ER was complete, Beverly-Grant renovated the old ER into a new radiology department. Phasing and maintaining hospital operations throughout these renovations were imperative. Through a series of meetings and discussions of several different phasing options, Beverly-Grant worked with the entire design team as well as the owner in order to complete the renovations without disrupting or interfering with normal hospital operations.
