Projects

This project encompasses a comprehensive series of improvements throughout Asheville’s River Arts District, including enhancements to the River Arts District Transportation Improvement Project (RADTIP), Town Branch Greenway, Clingman Forest and French Broad River West Greenways, and Livingston Street. The scope included construction of asphalt greenway trails, boardwalks, and bridge structures, along with integrated stormwater management systems and site landscaping. Roadway improvements featured new roundabouts, upgraded intersections and traffic signals, curb and gutter installation, and updated signage and pavement markings. Multimodal connectivity was a key component, with the addition of on-road bicycle facilities, parallel greenway trails, on-street parking, sidewalks, and streetscape enhancements, including street furniture and public art. The completed project creates a cohesive network of infrastructure and public spaces that supports accessibility, mobility, and community engagement throughout the district.
