Projects
Originally constructed in 1929, Skyline Lodge underwent a comprehensive renovation to restore and modernize the historic property in accordance with National Park Service Historic Standards. Deterioration from deferred maintenance and concealed deficiencies required a full interior demolition, returning the structure to its core framework before reconstruction. The project encompassed the complete renovation of all 42 guest rooms, as well as upgrades to the bar, kitchen, restaurant, outdoor pool area, and other public spaces. Historic Tax Credits were utilized to support the extensive scope of improvements while maintaining the building’s historic character. Building systems were fully replaced, including new code-compliant electrical and plumbing infrastructure and the installation of a modern HVAC system to provide conditioned air throughout the facility. New interior finishes were incorporated across all spaces, resulting in a restored lodge that balances historic integrity with updated performance and guest experience.
